A resident of Southwest Washington, Rich pursued an undergraduate degree in education from Central Washington University and later earned a master’s in Sports Science. He has been teaching for many years and has earned numerous awards for coaching at both middle and high school levels.
Rich became addicted to fishing at age seven. He spends countless hours on the water — particularly the Columbia River near his home — where some of his favorite targets are salmon and steelhead. Rich looks forward to coaching lodge guests this summer, helping them reel in some good times and perhaps the catch of a lifetime!
